Your Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking starts and ends in Kathmandu. The journey of your Poon Hill Trek from Kathmandu begins with a scenic drive to Pokhara. On the following day, take a drive to Hile, the trailhead of your trek.

While trekking you will be stopping by Ulleri, a village dominated by Magar ethnic group. On the following day, you will be trekking to a famous Gurung village of Ghorepani.

Savor the panoramic mountain view along with a mesmerizing sunrise from Poon Hill on the 4th day of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. Further, walk on a trail lined with rhododendron and pine trees to Tadapani and famous Gurung village of Ghandruk.

Also, Ghandruk is home to brave Gorkha soldiers. Trek to Kimche marks the end of your Ghorepani Poon Hill Ghandruk Trek and take a drive back to Pokhara. On the next day, you will be taking a drive back to Kathmandu.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 6 days is an easy trek which takes you closer to the Himalayas in a short time.

Poon Hill which is located at 3,210 meters is the highest elevation of your trek while Hile (1,480m) is the lowest elevation.

Your maximum and minimum trekking hours per day are roughly 3 hours and 6 hours respectively. On average you will be trekking for around 5 hours a day.
