Spring Season (March to May)

The spring season is the best time for trekking in Nepal, which offers varied wild flora and fauna and a suitable climate with moderate temperature. The trekking above 3000m is easy and amazing as the landscape views, and the peaks are clear. You can enjoy Buddha Jayanti, which is the birthday of Lord Buddha, by visiting the monastery.

The weather is clear, which allows better views of the mountains. The daytime temperature can reach up to 20 degrees Celsius while the night times are colder.

Autumn (September to November)

The autumn is another best time for trekking in Nepal. The season marks the end of the monsoon season. The daytime hovers at 15 degree Celsius and night time rarely dip below zero in the lower altitude. The weather becomes clearer after rain; thus, the sceneries are breathtaking to witness. The major festival of Nepalese, Dashain, and Tihar, falls in this season where you can celebrate and enjoy it.

Monsoon Season (June to August)

The monsoon season is filled with heavy rainfall, where the trails are muddy and filled with leeches. The visibility of the peaks and the surrounding can be low due to thick clouds in the sky. The mountain flights can be delayed or canceled in this season. The temperature in the day is above 20 degrees Celsius and night times are cooler. Winter season (December to February)

The trails along the lower hills can be enjoyed along with the mesmerizing views of the surroundings, but it can get extremely cold at the higher altitude. Just remember, the temperatures go down to a teeth-chattering 1Β°C in the day and below -10Β°C at night all over Nepal.

The trekking routes are less crowded for you to enjoy the trek in this season. You can also enjoy the Tibetan festivals such as Loshar at the end of February.

Beginning his journey in the tourism industry as a humble Porter Guide to founding hospitality establishments and an adventure travel company, he has come a long way.

Later on he went to become the Executive Director and took over the reins of Operations, Sales and Marketing departments. Spending several years in the tourism field has made Naba Raj Amgai a destination expert.

Travelling is his passion and he has been to many countries across the world – USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Holland, Germany, Austria and many parts of Asia.

His journeys to different parts of the world have enriched his travel experience and knowledge. This experience has been instrumental in planning and organising successful trips for several clients.
