Tsum Valley Trek Route
Start the adventure with a scenic drive to Arughat from Kathmandu. March toward Machha Khola and trek for 5-6 hours, through the rocky trail, Sal forests, and tropical waterfalls.
The path of Manaslu Tsum Valley continues to Jagat, Chumling, Chekampar, and Nile before hiking to Mu Gompa. En-route to Nile, you will cross several suspension bridges, climb over a rocky ridge, and cross a rope suspension bridge to the Rachen Gompa.
Tsum Valley Trek itinerary entails acclimatization at Nile-you will take an acclimatization hike to Mu Gompa. Mu Gompa, at 3,700m, is one of the largest monasteries in the region.
Continuing the trek of Tsum Valley Nepal, you will head to Chumling and Philim, descending to Gho and Lokpa. On the way, marvel at impressive Samba Falls. The trail further continues Soti Khola.
Finally, drive back to Kathmandu.
Tsum Valley Trek Difficulty
Tsum Valley Trek 13 days is an easy to moderate trek, suitable for all age groups. Mu Gompa at 3,700m is the highest elevation of this trek. You will have to trek for 5-6 hours on a normal trekking day. On a challenging day, you must walk for 7 hours through rough trails.
