The Royal Trek got its name after Prince Charles of England, who explored this route in the 1980s. It is one of the shortest and easiest treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal.

The trail leads you to the shrub-like path along the foothills of Annapurna. Walk through rhododendron forests, ridges, and valleys and enjoy a fantastic journey in the prominent trekking region of Nepal.

One of the significant highlights of this trek is the panoramic views of Pokhara city and mountains. The awe-inspiring views of Annapurna range, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and Langtang will definitely overwhelm you. Explore ethnic villages and grab an opportunity to experience local lifestyle and culture.

Royal Trek Route

Royal Trek, also known as Annapurna Royal Trek begins with a scenic ride to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Royal Trek itinerary’s starting point is Kalikasthan. The trail further continues to Syaklung, Chisapani and Begnas before heading to Pokhara.

You will enjoy occasional uphill and downhill with beautiful views of hillside rice terraces and majestic mountains.

You will spend 2 nights in the beautiful city of Pokhara. In your leisure, stroll around the Lakeside and admire the blissful aura of Phewa Lake. Your trip finally ends with a bus ride to Kathmandu from Pokhara.

Royal Trek Difficulty

Royal Trek is an easy trek ideal for all age groups, solo traveler and family. If you are an inexperienced trekker, you can embark on this Royal trek 6 days.

Our astute and professional guides, with more than a decade of experience, are ready to serve you. The highest elevation you will reach is 1730 m at Syaklung. Minimum trekking time is 3 hours and maximum is 7 hours.

Day 1 :

Drive from Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) to Pokhara (800m/2,625ft)
Duration: 6-7 Hours (200 km) Drive

Day 2 :
Day 2

Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur (800m/2,625ft), trek to Kalikasthan (1,370m/4,496ft)
Duration: 20 minutes (15 km) drive, 4-5 hours (12 km) trek

Day 3 :
Day 3

Trek to Syaklung (1,730m/5,675ft)
Walking distance: 5-6 hours (14 km) trek

Day 4 :
Day 4

Trek to Chisapani (1,550m/5,084ft)
Walking distance: 5-6 hours (16 km) trek

Day 5 :

Trek to Begnas (800m/2,625ft)
Drive to Pokhara (800m/2,625ft)
Duration: 3-4 hours (9 km) trek, 40 minutes (18 km) Drive

Day 6 :
