Manaslu Nar Phu & Annapurna Circuit Trek Route

Annapurna Circuit Manaslu and Nar Phu trek starts with a scenic drive to Sotikhola via Arughat from Kathmandu.

March towards Machha Khola and continue the trail to Jagat. It will take you 5 to 6 hours to reach Jagat from Machha Khola. The trail further ascends to Deng, Namrung, and Sama Gaon. Samagaon at 3,520m is the perfect place to rest and acclimatize.

Continue hiking to Larkya Base Camp (4,460m) and trek to Bimtang. En-route to Bimtang, you will cross Larkya La Pass, at 5,106m, one of the longest passes in Nepal Himalaya. Embrace the stunning views from Larkya La Pass.

Continue the trail to Dharapani, Kota and Meta before resting at Phu village. Traverse through pine and fir forests, trek through Soti Khola’s bank, cross suspension bridges and reach the beautiful village of Phu. Phu Gaon is the second acclimatization spot on your Annapurna Circuit Manaslu and Nar Phu Trek.

Experience the local culture, natural beauty and indulge in local lifestyle. The next day you will cross Kang La Pass and stay overnight in Ngawal.

On 19th day, you will rest in Manang and hike to Ice lake at 4,600m. Furthermore, trek to Yak Kharka, Phedi and Muktinath via Thorong La Pass. You will then descend to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara.

Manaslu Nar Phu & Annapurna Circuit Trek Difficulty

Manaslu Nar Phu and Annapurna Circuit trek is a moderate to difficult graded trek.

You will have to walk for at least 6 hours per day through rough trails and deal with high altitude air and low oxygen level on some days. The highest elevation of this trek is 5416m at Thorong La pass.

There will be two acclimatization days, at Sama Gaon and Phu Gaon. Trekkers with prior experience are recommended to opt for this trek. However, if you are a novice trekker and interested in this trek, you should consider exercising every day and consult our travel consultant at Nepal Trek Routes.
