Manaslu Circuit Short Trek Route

Manaslu Circuit Trek starts with a drive to Soti Khola from Kathmandu. It will take you 7-8 hours to reach Soti Khola via Arughat. Rest for the night and wake up early to hit the trail to Machha Khola.

The uphill to Machha Khola is a perfect start. You will continue the path to Jagat, Deng, Namrung, and Sama Gaon. Sama Goan is one of the largest villages in the Manaslu region.

Short Manaslu Trek lets you acclimatize at Sama Gaon on the 7th day. On the 9th day, you will trek from Samado to Dharamsala / Larkya Base Camp at 4,460m, crossing the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki and ascend to Dharmasala for overnight.

Walk on the Larkye Glacier and en-route to Bhimtang, from Larkya La Pass admire stunning views of Himlung Himal, Kangguru, and Annapurna II.

Larkya La Pass at 5,165m is the highest point of Manaslu Circuit Trek 12 days. From Bimtang, you will head to Dharapani and drive to Kathmandu, where you end your trip.

Manaslu Circuit Short Trek Difficulty

Manaslu Trek 12 days is a remarkable journey around the Manaslu Conservation Area. It is a moderate to difficult trek and hence is suitable for you if you have trekking experience. However, our professional guides will help you plan and prepare for the trek even if you are a new trekker.

You will have to walk/hike for about 4-5 hours per day. On a challenging day, you will have to walk for 8-9 hours.

The highest elevation marked during the trek is 5,165m.

If you are looking for moderate trek, you can go for Annapurna Base Camp Trek, or Mardi Himal Trek.
