Begin your Everest Luxury Lodge Trek with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla Airport, you start your trek and head towards Phakding, a Sherpa settlement.

Take the trail along the Dudh Koshi River and walk through pine and rhododendron forests. The snow-capped Himalayan mountains rearing in the background loom closer each day.

Cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge and enjoy the first glimpse of Mount Everest as you enter Namche Bazaar. An acclimatization day at Namche will allow you to explore more of this bustling town as well as nearby Sherpa settlements of Shyangboche, Khumjung and Kunde.

Everest Luxury Lodge Trek Return Lukla by Helicopter is a moderate to difficult trek suitable for both experienced and inexperienced trekkers. Past hiking experience though not essential, would be favorable.

You need to be physically fit as walking in high altitude may prove to be demanding. No technical climbing is involved. The highest point you will reach during your trip is Kala Patthar at 5,550 metres.

Two acclimatization days at Namche and Dingboche will allow your body to get used to thin mountain air.

Maximum you will be spending 8 hours walking on the trail and minimum 3 hours. On average you will be walking 5 to 6 hours each day.

Up to Namche you can enjoy luxury accommodation but beyond Namche, facilities at the teahouses maybe somewhat basic. The return to Lukla via helicopter will save you time as well as energy.
