Everest Base Camp Trek and Return by Helicopter Route

Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return starts with a heli ride to Lukla. Trek to Phakding and rest for the day at one of the lodges. The next day, you will continue the trail to Namche Bazaar, a beautiful Sherpa town in the Everest region.

Namche is the best spot for acclimatization. Ascend towards Tengboche village, home to one of the largest monasteries in the Everest region. From Tengboche enjoy stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku.

On the 5th day, you will reach Dingboche and spend another day acclimatizing. Hike to Nagarjun Hill, get awed by the jaw-dropping views of the Himalayas. As the journey to EBC continues, the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam inspire you.

On the 8th day of Everest Base Camp Trek with helicopter return, you will visit Everest Base Camp. After spending a beautiful and triumphant moment at EBC, you will hike to Kala Patthar, to admire 360-degree up-close views of Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. From Kala Patthar, you return to Lukla and then onwards to Kathmandu by Helicopter.

The highest elevation reached is 5,550m at Kala Patthar. On a normal day, you will trek for 5-6 hours, and on a challenging day, you must walk for 7-8 hours.
